The Math Department uses the Common Core Standards for Mathematics. There are three AP courses offered: AP Pre-Calculus, AP Statistics, and AP Calculus AB.
Scientifically literate individuals possess both a knowledge of facts and an understanding of concepts from a wide range of scientific disciplines.
Social Studies courses are designed to allow students to develop and demonstrate character, collaboration, communication, creativity, critical thinking, cultural competence, and content knowledge. Grade 9 students will be required to take World History, Grade 10 students Economics, and Grade 11/12 students may take other social studies courses they are interested in.
Students build global competence through our World Languages program (Mandarin, Malay, and Spanish for Grades 5+), and our EAL program offers three tiers of support (iEAL, aEAL, and EAL) to ensure that every learner thrives academically and linguistically.

Physical Education is a subject that helps students develop physical skills, healthy habits, and positive attitudes toward being active. In P.E., students learn to move safely, work together, and respect others while participating in a variety of activities. Regular physical activity helps build strong bodies, confidence, and lifelong wellness.
Art is a subject where students explore creativity, imagination, and self-expression. In art class, students learn to use different materials and techniques to create and share their ideas. Art helps develop fine motor skills, confidence, and an appreciation for creativity and visual expression.
