Dr. Tarek Razik has over 35 years of experience in international education, teaching in Japan, Germany, Jamaica, and Puerto Rico, and serving in administrative roles such as High School Principal at the Shanghai American School in China. He has led prestigious institutions in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Thailand, Beijing, Jakarta, and served as CEO of Vietnam Australian International Schools in Ho Chi Minh City, overseeing 8,000 students. He has also held interim leadership as Head of School in Rwanda.

Tarek holds a Bachelor's degree in History and Political Science from the University of Vermont, a Master's degree in Multicultural Education from St. Michael's College in Vermont, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Columbia University, with additional studies in Change Management at Stanford Business School. 

An innovative educator, he has focused on strategic planning, project-based learning, and integrating rigorous academics with real-world applications, playing a key role in establishing the Futures Academy at the International School of Beijing. Tarek has also contributed to the broader education community, serving six years on the boards of the East Asia Regional Council of Schools (EARCOS) and the Council of International Schools (CIS), where he continues to chair. 

Outside of education, Tarek enjoys spending time in his hometown of Rangeley, Maine, playing golf, and supporting the Collingwood Magpies in Australian Rules Football.

Dr. Lynne Morrin brings nearly 30 years of leadership and educational experience in international settings. She holds an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Concordia University, a Master’s in Administrative Leadership from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, a Master’s in Education from the University of Wisconsin, Superior, and a Bachelor of Music and Special Education from Pacific Lutheran University.

Before joining FCIS, Lynne was the Founding Head of Early Years and Primary and Whole School Director of Academic Programs at BASIS International School in Nanjing, China, where she developed and implemented social-emotional learning programs, guided reading initiatives, and online learning platforms. She also managed the curriculum, intervention programs, and external testing. 

Her experience includes serving as Assistant Principal at GEMS World Academy in Dubai, where she led the SEND department to an outstanding rating and managed student support services. She was also Director of Student Services at Prem Tinsulanonda International School in Thailand and has held several teaching and leadership positions in the U.S.

At FCIS, Lynne focuses on creating an inclusive, supportive learning environment and leads the lower school with data-driven instruction, staff professional development, and best practices in teaching and learning. Her expertise in curriculum development and dedication to student success make her a valuable addition to our community.

Dr. Fred Li, originally from Taiwan, China and having spent part of his childhood in the U.S., is a distinguished educator with over 20 years of experience in teaching and
administration. He holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Kentucky and has made significant contributions to the field of education.

Fred has been instrumental in guiding students through the college application process, particularly those aiming for top-tier universities such as UC Berkeley and Oxford. His mentorship and expertise have been critical in helping students achieve their academic aspirations and secure placements at prestigious institutions.

His commitment to education, exceptional teaching abilities, and dedication to student success have earned him high regard and respect from both students and the broader educational community.

Annie Zhao - Acting Head of School Operations

Ms. Annie Zhao is a highly accomplished professional holding a Master of Science in Chemistry from Carnegie Mellon University, USA, and a Global EMBA from the China Europe International Business School. With over two decades of experience in school operations, mergers and acquisitions, and post-acquisition management of K12 international schools, she brings a wealth of expertise to her current role as Acting Head of School Operations at Forest City International School. 

In this capacity, Annie is responsible for overseeing key functional departments, including Marketing & Admissions, IT, Facility and Procurement, Finance, and Human Resources. Her primary objective is to ensure the seamless coordination of these departments to improve operational efficiency and support the organization's buy-and-build strategy for school expansion in Southeast Asia and other potential markets

Jack Neo - Financial Controller

With over 15 years of experience in the finance and accounting industry, Jack currently serves as the Financial Controller at Forest City International School, a role he began in 2020. He graduated from Inti International University & College Malaysia in 2007 with a degree in Banking & Finance and earned his Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) certification in 2022. Additionally, he is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. He is focused on delivering effective financial management and strategic insights to support the continued success of the institutions he works with.
