# FCIS EAL, Boarding and Student Life

## Does FCIS support students who are still learning English?

Yes. FCIS provides English as an Additional Language (EAL) support for multilingual learners. The current programme describes three delivery methods:

- Push-in support within a mainstream class
- Sheltered instruction for academic subjects
- Pull-out instruction with an EAL specialist

The school uses WIDA as its primary English-proficiency framework and may use CAT4 and MAP information as complementary evidence. Students can receive small-group support, subject-language support and a personalised transition plan.

## Does FCIS offer boarding?
