# FCIS Admissions, Fees, Safety and Community

## How do families apply to FCIS?

The published admissions process has five stages:

1. Complete the online application through OpenApply, submit the student's passport page and two years of school records, and pay the application fee.
2. Attend an admissions interview and the grade-appropriate assessments.
3. Receive the admissions decision and invoice, then complete payment by the stated deadline.
4. Work with FCIS Student Affairs on eligible student and guardian pass applications.
5. Receive orientation and first-day information before enrolment begins.

Interview and assessment requirements differ by grade. The current Admissions page describes interviews, trial classes, WIDA English assessment, mathematics assessment and CAT4 where applicable.

## Does FCIS accept applications during the school year?

The current admissions FAQ says FCIS accepts enrolments throughout the school year and considers students from IB, IGCSE, national and other curriculum backgrounds. Placement remains subject to review and availability.

## Where can families find current fees?

Use the official School Fees page for current tuition, annual charges, one-time fees, boarding charges, EAL charges, tax notes and deposit/refund conditions. Third-party estimates should not replace the official fee schedule.

## How should safety and safeguarding information be checked?

Operational safety, safeguarding, health, disciplinary and reporting procedures can change and may contain sensitive details. Families should request the current approved policies directly from FCIS rather than relying on an undated summary.

## How does FCIS describe community participation?

Current school content includes student leadership, environmental activities, charity events, mental-health activities, sport, arts and other community experiences. Recent examples are published through News & Events. Individual stories should be interpreted as examples, not permanent programme guarantees.
